Tuned Mass Damper

This product is designed for railway noise and vibration control using an advanced multiple spring-mass system. Multiple oscillating masses move along the shear directions of resilient layers in both the vertical and lateral directions, providing broadband vibration absorption. The natural frequencies of the oscillating masses can be individually tuned to effectively damp both vertical and lateral pinned-pinned rail resonance. Its performance in reducing railway noise and suppressing rail corrugation has been successfully demonstrated under operational railway conditions.
